It is rude when you cancel in the last 24 hours, you inconvenience everybody. COST 20.00 per person for boat rental Bad weather will Cancel Join us for an evening canoeing around Huntington Harbor to view the Christmas lights and decorations. Please plan to arrive at or before 5: pm so that you have time to park, help unload and decorate the boat if you bring some decorations. We will launch at 4:30 pm. Back at about 6:30pm. Then after the paddle for those who want we go to dinner. If you like to paddle in style, bring some small colored lights with batteries. (You can find them at some drug stores for $5). Also bring a flashlight to mount on the front of your vessel. We’ll bring some masking tape/duct tape to strap it on. Masking tape can be used to fasten your Christmas lights to your vessel. An alternative to colored electrical lights is to bring a chemical light stick and fasten that to your paddle. We will provide canoes, life jackets and paddles. If you will be bringing your own boat let me know, please indicate so in the comments when you sign up. Be sure to wear pants where you can roll up the bottom or long shorts to keep your legs warm and a flannel top. Bring a light windbreaker that you can remove after a half hour of paddling. .. (and a plastic bag to stow it on the floor of the canoe so it doesn’t get wet). You may want to bring some warm apple cider or chocolate milk in a thermos. Bring a pair of sandals for use on the paddle and other shoes for later, as what you wear in the boat will get wet/sandy. ...and don’t forget your Santa hat!
