Ski πΏ Salt Lake City Resorts! The lightest least dense snow βοΈ on Earth π
Details
We are heading to Salt Lake City to ski πΏ & snowboard π their fabulous resorts again! Deer Valley, Solitude, Brighton, Alta, Snowbird, and Snowbasin are all on IKON. Note that Deer Valley & Alta are SKI ONLY resorts. (There are only 3 resorts that are ski only in the USA πΊπΈ )
And Park City is on EPIC.
I go there every ski season! Great resorts and skiing/boarding and beautiful. βοΈ Deer Valley has consistently been named the βBest Serviceβ resort by SKI magazine for decades! And has 7 new lifts & 80 new runs for 2026!!

And Alta is my 2nd favorite. Snowbird is lovely too, my friend was on ski patrol for years there. All of the resorts are great and I have been to all of them.
So grab your IKON/EPIC Pass and join us!
Plan is to drive there on Sunday, March 1st & drive back on Saturday, March 7th, giving us 5 days of weekday skiing Monday thru Friday! π
Of course, you can modify to fit your own schedule.
We will simply pick a reasonably priced Salt Lake City hotel. Last year we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Murray, UT. I have also stayed at the Quality Inn in Murray, UT. Another friend has also stayed at a Residence Inn in Murray, UT and that was nice too.
All had a decent hot breakfast and it worked as a nice meeting place in the mornings for planning and carpooling to the different resorts.
Hotels are plentiful and inexpensive in Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City is a great location for people to get to any of the many ski πΏ resorts to give each of them a try.
We can pick a hotel together once I have an idea of who will be joining us.
*** Everyone will be responsible for making their own hotel reservations and coordinate sharing rooms or getting their own.
Invite your friends, or come on your own! And feel free to cross-post this event on Meetup, Facebook, or anywhere that you want. The more the merrier! π And then more likely that youβll find some similar skiing/boarding ability people to hang with at the resorts.
I just wanted to invite my fellow S2S hiking friends! π Because a handful of you have joined me skiing in the past at Mammoth 𦣠and SLC π€©
I donβt necessarily need a huge crew, just a good crew! π About 5 of us going again, so far. It was a great time last year & previous years ππ
