Lace up (or slip on) your beach-friendly shoes and come enjoy one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Orange County. This walk offers plenty of scenery, sea air, and good company.

🚶‍♀️ The Walk
We’ll begin at the corner of Cameo Shores & Hampton Road, head down to the state beach, head north to the cool and then head south toward El Morro—roughly 6–7 miles round trip.

Along the way, we’ll pass through the Crystal Cove State Historic District, home to 24 charming vintage beach cottages from the 1930s and ’40s. We’ll pause here for a refreshment/bio break before continuing on. Once we “touch” El Morro, we’ll turn around and head back to our starting point.

Expect lots of sand, a bit of water walking, and some tide-pool rock hopping—simply coastal goodness!
