About the Walk
Join us for a scenic 5½-mile walk through Huntington Beach Central Park, one of Orange County's hidden gems. This relaxed Saturday morning outing is perfect for anyone who enjoys fresh air, great conversation, and discovering beautiful local parks.

Pace & Terrain
We'll maintain a comfortable, social pace, covering the route in approximately 2½ hours. The walk follows mostly flat, paved, and well-maintained paths, making it suitable for most walkers who are comfortable covering the distance.

Along the Way
Our route will take us through many of the park's most scenic areas, including:
🌿 The World Trail
🦆 A leisurely loop around beautiful Lake Huntington
🌸 Peaceful gardens and landscaped pathways
🌳 The natural habitats surrounding Shipley Nature Center
🌾 Shady groves and open meadows
We'll pause occasionally for photos, enjoy the scenery, and keep an eye out for ducks, herons, turtles, and other local wildlife. The emphasis is on enjoying the journey rather than racing to the finish.

If you sign up, please plan on attending. Last-minute cancellations make it difficult to manage group size and often prevent someone on the waitlist from joining.

📋 Reservations Required
Everyone attending must have a confirmed reservation through Meetup. If you're on the waitlist, you'll automatically be moved to "Going" if a spot becomes available. Once registration closes, no additional participants can be added.

For the comfort and safety of the group, please use a clear profile photo showing your full face and include your first name. It helps everyone recognize one another and makes welcoming new members much easier.
