Kayaking group closing - January 2026

Hey Yakers, as of the end of January, 2026, I will be stepping down as Organizer of this group of 13 yrs. Anyone interested in taking over this group will have the opportunity to do so. My understanding is that Meetup will be letting every one of 1,094 Active members and 2558 Inactive members know soon with information.
What I would like to do is to get a list of anyone that is still interested in kayaking and through another channel, send messages when I will be setting up my own kayaking event. In progress.
I have enjoyed these past years meeting so many wonderful people that enriched my life and I hope theirs also.
I will be setting up Nov. 2025 & Jan. 2026 events, (NO December), until my term is up. Meetup did what they set out to do, bring 'like people with like interest' together. Thank you, Elaine
