🍁 Maple Leaf Evening Lights Walk
Details
Join us for our first Evening Lights Walk as we explore the Maple Leaf neighborhood as daylight fades into evening.
We’ll meet at Maple Leaf Park Playground at 6:00 p.m. and begin promptly at 6:00. From there, we’ll make our way through the residential streets of Maple Leaf on a roughly 4.1-mile loop, with plenty of hills along the way.
With early October bringing fall colors and an earlier sunset, I’m hoping we’ll catch some beautiful fall foliage and enjoy the last light of a Seattle autumn evening before finishing the walk after dark.

Please bring a light such as a headlamp or flashlight, and consider wearing something reflective or brightly colored. We’ll be walking through residential areas and crossing streets after dark, so visibility will be especially important.
This is a no-drop social walk. We’ll stay together, regroup as needed, and make sure no one gets left behind. There are several hills on this route, but we’ll keep a comfortable social pace.
Come enjoy the fall colors, evening atmosphere, and a different side of Seattle as we kick off our Evening Lights Walks.
