Orienteering Training Day at Ferny Forest Trails

No experience necessary!

Expert coaching from Jan & Kim who run Tri Adventure. They are famous for running the Wild Women Adventure Race which is held in October each year. Their new event The Amazons was held last week at Mission Beach. You might be an Amazon next year!

This skills day will be ideal for those interested in rogaining, adventure racing, night nav, or just wanting to see what orienteering is all about and make some new buddies along the way.

There are a lot of events on offer throughout the year that can be entered solo or in groups of 2 or more and have options of short or long courses depending on your fitness or preference. This Meetup group is hoping to bring people together so that they can join in these events with the support of more experienced people.

Foot orienteering skills start at 9am or mountain bike orienteering skills at 12 midday. Come for one or both! ...and it's only going to cost you $10!

If you can't make Saturday's training day there is a Mountain Bike Orienteering event at Beerburrum on Sunday morning. It's only $25 to enter and there will be Sunshine Orienteers' club members there to show you the ropes. See Sunshine Orienteers Facebook page for details.
