Let's kick off 2014 with a bang!!

We are already 10% of the way through the year so its time to get stuck into some quality property investing content and networking. The Sunshine Coast appears to be moving out of the bottom cycle so let's take advantage the potential upswing that is coming.

To get the ball rolling we have our ever popular, Real Deal presentation and this month we hear from

Kaz Young.

Kaz is a mover and shaker on the Sunny Coast and will be sharing with us one of her latest renovation projects!

The Real Deal segment is just that! You get to see numbers, before & after photos, how the deal was found, what went right and what went wrong.

Kaz's renovation has every twist and turn you can think of so it will be brilliant to hear how Kaz dealt with the roller coaster road to eventually turn a profit.

Our second presentation will be focussed on giving. It's something that often gets overlooked and i believe that giving to charity is a common trait of any successful property investor (or any successful person for that matter)

With this in mind, I have asked Jennie Brown to spend 15 minutes sharing with us her incredible goal to raise a million dollars for charity before she turns 50 (in 18 months)

This is an inspiring story from Jennie and she has called her special goal Project 50 (http://www.projectfifty.com.au)

Jennie happens to be an extremely successful property investor with almost 30 years experience and has now made this her passion... Awesome stuff!

To finish the night off, we have a surveyor/town planner coming along to provide some some exceptional insight around finding development sites and working with council to get your DA (Development Approval) over the line.

Merv O'Reilly is from O'Reilly Nunn Favier Surveyors based here on the Sunny Coast and have extensive knowledge and experience with property investors in South East Qld.

You'll get local knowledge on small lot subdivisions, development sites, strata titling, easements and covenants.

A town planner is a key person on your team if you are looking at implementing any subdivision or development strategy so this presentation will be well worth being in the room for!

I can't wait to see Merv share all his do's and dont's when it comes to surveying and town planning!
