If you’ve ever longed for the warmth of home—the sound of Sanskrit shlokas / bhajans in the air, or just the joy of sharing Sanatan-Dharma traditions with like-minded souls—this group is for you.

Having recently moved to the Sunshine Coast, I quickly realized that while life here is incredibly comfortable and beautiful, something was missing. I found myself yearning for the simple yet deeply meaningful moments I once took for granted—visiting a temple, celebrating & singing bhajans on Vasant Panchami or Makar Sankranti, or just being in that festive space around other people who were surrendering themselves to something much higher. Even just sharing a heartfelt conversation with someone who understands what it’s like to grow up immersed in the wisdom of the Vedas felt like a distant memory.

So, instead of waiting for a community to appear, I decided to create one.

Whether you’re new to Australia, missing home, or have lived here for years but long for deeper connections, this group is our space. A space to celebrate together, reflect on our roots, and create new traditions while keeping the old ones alive. We’ll come together for pujas, satsangs, festivals (because we all know how many we have! 😄), and just heartfelt conversations over chai.
