Welcome to "Meditate with a Monk"!

Once Buddha said, "Arogya Parama Labha," which means "Good mental health is the precious gain." At "Meditate with a Monk," we wholeheartedly embrace this wisdom to help you achieve greater mental well-being through the practice of meditation and mindfulness.

We offer teachings based on Theravada Buddhism, guiding you through techniques designed to enhance your mental clarity, peace, and overall happiness. Our approach encompasses the dual practices of Samatha (Calm Meditation) and Vipassana (Insight Meditation), catering to all individuals regardless of their religion, gender, culture, or background.

All our programs are led by experienced Buddhist monks, ensuring authentic and profound guidance. In addition to meditation, we provide teachings on Buddhism to help deepen your wisdom and mindfulness, contributing to a more joyful and fulfilling life.

Our group is a part of the Mahamevnawa Meditation Centers in the US, with our headquarters based in Sri Lanka. Mahamevnawa is a global meditation community, boasting over 75 branches in Sri Lanka and more than 25 branches internationally.
