Sunshine Social Hike 5/11: Painted Hills 😁☀️

Let’s enjoy a toasty warm Mother’s Day social hike at the beautiful Painted Hills! We will be hiking a modified version of the Painted Hills Trails Loop with an excursion up to Recoil Peak and a shortcut through the western part.

At a little over three miles in length and around 400 feet of elevation, this is a ‘beginner plus’ trail due to its length, incline and rockiness. Gorgeous views and last time we were here in November we found a cool labyrinth…

Please note the earlier start time! All social hikes will start at 7:30 in May, with intros starting at 7:15

Please bring water and sunscreen, hiking poles may be helpful with some rocky parts. The weather forecast right now calls for high 70 degrees at the start and mid 80s by the time we finish, our first summer weather social hike of the season! It’s going to be hot, so please plan accordingly 🔥

Let’s head back the Bisbee Breakfast Club on Ajo after the hike, it’s 15 minutes from the trailhead (and a spacious, new restaurant)
