Sunshine Social Hike 5/18: Sentinel Peak 😁☀️

Let’s enjoy a fun little social hike on Sentinel Peak, also known as “A Mountain”! We will be hiking the Sentinel Peak Park Loop with slight modifications.

Overall, it will be around three miles in length and 250 feet of elevation, should take us around an hour and forty-five minutes to two hours. There are some rocky parts by the peak but overall this is a beginner hike in difficulty, with awesome views from the “A”.

Please note the earlier start time! All social hikes will start at 7:30 in May, with intros starting at 7:15

Please bring water and sunscreen, hiking poles may be helpful with some rocky parts. The weather forecast right now calls for 64 degrees at the start and low 70s by the time we finish, beautiful hiking weather! This is a dog friendly trail 🐶

Important parking note: please put 470 s Sentinel Peak Rd into your gps, check the event tab for a picture of the map, we will be meeting at the parking lot at the base of the peak, not the parking lot at the top.

Let’s head to Culinary Dropout on Grant for brunch, they open at 9, have lots of space, and it’s a twelve minute drive from the trailhead. We’ll get a count after the hike and call ahead to get a table on the patio.
