Sunshine Social Hike 6/1: Sabino Canyon 😁☀️

Let’s enjoy an early morning June social hike at Sabino Canyon! We will be hiking the Sabino Walkway Loop with an extra half mile extension past the dam.

Overall, it will be a 3.4 mile loop with around 200 feet of elevation gain. It is listed in Alltrails as Sabino Walkway Loop, at about the 1.3 mile mark we will continue along with creek on Creek Trail #52…crossing over on the Phoneline Link trail and coming back down the tramway.

Please note the earlier start time! All social hikes will start at 7:00 in the summer, with intros starting at 6:50am.

Please bring water and sunscreen, hiking poles may be helpful with some rocky parts. The weather forecast right now calls for 75 degrees at the start and 80 by the time we finish, beautiful hiking weather, getting a little warm! This is not a dog friendly trail, sorry.

Sabino Canyon Recreation Center charges a parking fee which can be paid online or onsite (a National parks pass works here too). We will be meeting at the southeast corner of the parking lot where the Seven Falls trailhead is listed.

Let’s head to Bisbee Breakfast Company on Swan and Sunrise afterwards for brunch, I’ll get a head count after the hike and we will meet there shortly after 9.
