Sunshine Social Hike 1/4: Dove Mountain 9AM 😁☀️🕊️

Let’s enjoy a beautiful social hike in the Tortolitas out by Dove Mountain! We will be hiking the Lower Javelina and Wild Burro Short Loop.

This will be an approximately 3.0 mile hike with around 300 feet of elevation gain and will take us about an hour and a half to complete. For a social hike, this is on the longer side with a decent amount of elevation.

We start in the Ritz Carlton lot and make our way through the wash, then we hike up the side of the canyon for a bit and loop back around the wash to the trailhead.

We will be starting introductions at 9:00am. After intros, we will begin hiking and return to the parking lot just around 10:40am (having taken our customary group picture at the halfway point, of course 😁)

Please bring water and sunscreen, hiking poles may be useful in the rocky parts. This trail is completely exposed.

The weather forecast right now calls for 52 degrees at the start and 59 by the time we finish, a little chilly! I recommend layers.
This is a dog friendly trail 🐶

Parking is free, as you enter the Ritz Carlton the attendant will guide you to the trailhead (third right).
