Sunshine Social Hike 4/5: Sweetwater Easter 8AM 😁☀️🐇

Let’s enjoy a social hike on Easter morning at our old hiking ground, Sweetwater Preserve! We will be hiking a modified version of the Desperado Trail.

This will be an approximately 3.5 mile hike with around 200 feet of elevation gain and will take us just over an hour and a half to complete. After the hike, we have a table of 12 on the patio at Mojo Cuban Kitchen for brunch at 10:15, let Jon know if you’d like a spot (we can grow past 12 if there’s interest).

We will be starting introductions at 8:00am. After intros, we will begin hiking and return to the parking lot just around 9:45am. Please be aware of the start time! With the holiday, there is only one social hike this week at 8am 👍🏻

Please bring water and sunscreen, hiking poles may be useful for comfort but not necessary with the slight incline (though occasional rockiness).

The weather forecast right now calls for 67 degrees at the start and 74 by the time we finish, warming up! I recommend shorts.

Parking is available and free at Sweetwater Preserve Trailhead, just make sure it’s not “Sweetwater Trailhead,” that’s a different place 🤷🏼‍♂️
