Sunshine Social Hike 4/19: Sabino Canyon 😁☀️

Let’s enjoy a social hike at the beautiful Sabino Canyon! We will be hiking the Walkway Loop.

This will be an approximately 3 mile hike with around 200 feet of elevation gain and will take us just over an hour and a half to complete.

We will be starting introductions at 8:00am. After intros, we will begin hiking and return to the parking lot just around 9:45am. Please be aware of the start time! Only one social hike each of these last two Sundays in April 👍🏻

Please bring water and sunscreen, hiking poles may be useful for comfort but not necessary with the slight incline (though occasional rockiness).

The weather forecast right now calls for 70 degrees at the start and 79 by the time we finish, very warm! I recommend shorts.

Parking is available at the Sabino Canyon Recreation center, with passes available to purchase on site if you don’t have the national parks pass. We will be meeting at the east side of the parking lot. This is not a dog friendly hike, unfortunately.
