TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME - BLUEJAYS TRIP!

Alright Alright, I've been convinced to put another Jays Trip together.
The last one I put together was for 50 of us, but just so I can appreciate what to expect through Meetup, I'm gonna cap this one to 20 for this event.

Congrats on finding this event placeholder, it'll be 'officially announced' once I confirm the schedule at the end of the Month. UPDATE: ANNOUNCED.

NOTE: 16 of 20 friends signed up when the event was announced (Before officially published!). If you'd like to be on the Waiting List, PLEASE still try to sign up and PM me if possible. I'll see what I can do.

So being the 'cost-conscious' - 'die-hard' baseball fan I am....I've planned out a very inexpensive way to:

• check out a Jay game and enjoy the park and all new areas
• meet some awesome friends,
• enjoy a train ride

My plan is for only $45, I'm gonna get you a:

• GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET - Gets us to check out all the new Outfield Patio/Lounge Areas at the park
• GO TRAIN RETURN TICKET - That's there AND back! - That's right, don't worry about driving in the City, gas, pee breaks (they have clean washrooms on the train), traffic, parking costs) and all that!

The Ticket will give you Access to all the new 'NEIGHBOURHOODS' (Pics included) as shown HERE From the Flight Deck, to the Corona Rooftop Patio! Wherever you'd like to hang out. Each area has their own menus, look and feel, couches/standing area! Should be awesome!

SCHEDULE: (Updated with new, current GO Train schedule!).

• 10:45AM SHARP - Meet at Allandale Waterfront Station - 24 Essa Road, Barrie. (Basically there's a passenger drop off point from Lakeshore/Gowan Street) as well as FREE Parking on Gowan!
• 11:06 - Train Leaves! Since it's the 1st stop on the line, we should all be able to sit together. Get on with us, put your feet up, enjoy your Gatorades, Coffee, Water, whatever. Free Wifi as well.
• 12:48PM - Train Gets to Union Station, Toronto.
• 1:05 - Arrive @ Rogers Centre after a Short 10 minute walk (Not our 1st rodeo, you won't get lost, don't worry!)
• 1:30 - National Anthems & 1st Pitch! Lotsa time to get your 'refreshments', Popcorn and other fun stuff!
• 4:30 - Games now take about 2.5 hours. So should end by now. Enjoy the Jays Shop (I get a discount if you need it!). If we have time, there are a couple spots where we can certainly do a quick post game bevy, including one at Union.
• 5:45 - Get on the Train back to Barrie.
• 5:53 - Train Leaves
• 7:37PM - Train Arrives back at Barrie's Allandale Waterfront Go Station

(Note, If you choose to enjoy TO more, there are departures every hour after. Buses leave at 6:53, 9:53 as well as 11:27pm; Direct Trains leave also at 8:53 & 10:53pm).

PS - Don't stand beside me midway through the 7th inning, unless you are prepared to sing Ok BlueJays, and Take Me Out to the Ball Game with my arm around ya! Classic! :)
