About the Super Hug Club:
The Super Hug Club is a community that supports one another’s need for safe, physical connection through the practice of Super Hugging. A Super Hug is a consensual, platonic, intentional 20-second-or-longer heart-to-heart hug. It is scientifically-proven to reduce heart rate, blood pressure and cortisol, boost immunity, dopamine, serotonin, endorphins and oxytocin, and that humans should have at least eight per day for optimal health. Participants will learn how to fulfill this need through the cultivation of personal sovereignty.
A Super Hug Club Workshop includes:
-Overview of the community and practice
-Introduction of attendees
-Overview of the Eight Super Hug Club Safety Agreements
-Instruction of the Super Hug practice
-Five minute individual meditation
-Nine-cycle Super Hug Rotation
-Participant shares and integration
-Deep dive into the full-scope of the practice, community and its power as alternative medicine including an in-depth explanationation of the Eight Safety Agreements and the Eight Levels of the practice
-Discussion on how to support the community
-Group feedback
