Yosemite Camping, 2 moderate hikes, optional backpacking to Snow Creek Cabin

Let's go to our good old Yosemite while it's still not crowded! :)

This is our continuing pilgrimage to the "large mouth" :) The December event happened to be a lot of fun:

We will camp at Upper Pines again.

Currently we have room just for 2 more people, but do not hesitate to put yourself even in the wait-list - 5 days before the start we will do headcount and at that time some people usually opt out. I will notify people in the waitlist immediately if spots become available.

We do not plan strictly to do a day long backpacking the Snow Creek cabin. In December we did find Snow Creek Cabin. But the route was rather tough; we did not stay overnight. Whether we do Snow Creek cabin this time, or not will depend on the preparedness of the group, the spirits and desire. Give your comments/ask questions about that here, if you wish.

Make sure you have a pass to Yosemite (one per car.)

We share campsite reservation costs equally between participants. (Please bring some cash.) The campsite cost share will depend on how many people attend - usually we do about $10-11 per night.

The event officially starts Friday 2pm, but you can arrive as early in the morning as you want - the campsites are reserved by my friend from April 12 to 19th. I am inviting for the weekend only just because this is what people usually interested in.

So if you feel like coming as early as Thursday, the 12, and/or staying a few days after the weekend - you can (paying the cost share for that extra days to the host), but I personally should leave Sunday afternoon.
