Sebastian Bergmann — PHPUnit Best Practices

While PHPUnit is not difficult to set up and writing tests with it is easy, you will get better results and save development time if you know the tips and tricks to leverage PHPUnit more effectively.

This session, presented by the creator of PHPUnit, teaches best practices you can use to ensure that your unit testing effort is efficiently implemented.

Maaret Pyhäjärvi — Let's do a Thing and Call it Foo

Let’s take computer assisted software authorship and consider ourselves held accountable for results. We do a thing of testing and call it Foo until we have a shared experience.

Foo is what allows us to be accountable, and we learn that there are 5 layers of oracles we can choose to apply, and from our example can take ideas of how to apply those further.

Looking forward to seeing you on the 17th!
