The Surfrider Foundation Suncoast Chapter in association with Keep Manatee Beautiful and The Ocean Conservancy is participating in the International Coastal Cleanup at Twin Piers in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island on Saturday, October 5 at 9:00 AM.

Twin Piers is located on Anna Maria between 4th and 10th Streets on the south end of Bradenton Beach just north of Coquina Beach . Look for the Surfrider flags. It only takes an hour or two so earlier is better. Volunteers get a free T-Shirt courtesy of Manatee County.

This stretch of beach has been adopted by the Surfrider Suncoast Chapter and we clean it three times a year. Volunteers are needed so please do your part "To Protect and Surf!"

Locally, Keep Manatee Beautiful coordinates Adopt-A-Highway, Road and Shore groups to do cleanups on their adopted sections. In addition, other volunteers can report to check-in centers on Anna Maria Island, Cortez Village, Wares Creek, Emerson Point Preserve, Terra Ceia, and Braden and Manatee Rivers."
