What we’re about
Is your child in school or a job, but struggles with social skills, life skills and executive functioning? It can be a lonely world for the parents of kids who seem like they should be "making it" but aren't. What strategies work for other parents? How can a parent still keep and enjoy their own life? Who else might understand the particular challenges that we face as parents?
Come join us at our twice-monthly support group for parents of high-functioning autistic kids. We will meet in the Louisville/Superior area for 60-90 minutes on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, beginning in early December. We will talk about strategies for school and for the workplace and also working through the home challenges we all face.
All attendees must be kind and considerate of others as we share our struggles and successes.
