What we’re about
Art4vets was formed in 2016. We are determined to fill a void in helping other veterans support themselves as each other. We currently meet weekly with or without an agenda. We came together either by phone, zoom, or text to ensure all are doing okay.The group features many disciplines of artists; combining drama, writing, dance, movement, and any means of creative expression. Additionally, we participate in other programs of music, horse therapy, kayaking, gardening, as a group or with other veteran groups in the surrounding capital district. We recently became a committee , entitled “Support Our Troops” within the Zaloga Post American Legion #1520, which helps support our program.
