### We are hosted this month by Laura Ukowich, COO of Holidaily Brewing. Laura's 20+ years of success in the brewing industry gives her a unique perspective on Embracing Success in a "Man's World".

### Meet our Hostess:

When life gave Laura lemons, she made a Lemon Summer Shandy. Laura is a breast cancer survivor and widow and raises her son Jeffery who is a recent High School graduate. Outside of her role at Holidaily and her role as a mother, she volunteers at Susan G. Komen Colorado and is passionate about supporting Breast Cancer research. Laura is actively involved as a member of the Golden Women in Business and Greenwood Village Women in Business organizations and works with these groups to offer support from Holidaily, whether it be a space they can meet for happy hours and networking, or donation items for silent auctions. Laura also founded Holidaily's Culture Club, a group that meets monthly to assess and build off of Holidaily's positive work-life culture and actively creates opportunities for that team and the company at large to volunteer time to environmental efforts and/or less-privileged communities.
Laura has accomplished many things in her 20+ years of experience in the beer industry. It all began working in the warehouse business in a clerical role and climbed to management role within 2 years in her early 20’s. From there, she lead many projects including opening up 5 new warehouse facilities across the country and safely running rail and trucking operations. Since then, she has managed over 1 million square feet of warehouse space across the country, managed roughly 500 employees at one time, and expanded her knowledge into all facets of a startup operation including taproom, marketing, sales, and production; all of which she has successfully used to get Holidaily Brewing Company to where it is today.
