Turning Inward: An Introduction to Mind-Body Skills (for Women)
Details
This evening is for women who are ready to slow down and reconnect with their bodies.
You will learn about the science and healing power of mind-body skills: what they are, why they work, and what they feel like to practice.
Mind-body medicine is an evidence-based approach used in clinical and community settings around the world. It uses breath, guided imagery, movement, and self-expression to help the body shift out of chronic stress, heal from trauma, and move into a more regulated, resilient state.
During the evening, we will:
- Explore how stress lives in the nervous system and the body
- Experience guided practices you can use again on your own
- Share and ask questions, as much or as little as you like
Come as you are. Women 18 and older are welcome.
