May Book Club: Blood Orange

Details
Join us this May for an evening of lively discussion at the Surbiton Literary Salon, where we’ll be reading Blood Orange by Harriet Tyce, a gripping psychological thriller that offers a change of pace from our recent selections. Expect twists, tension, and plenty to discuss as we delve into themes of desire, deception, and the blurred lines between guilt and innocence.
The Surbiton Literary Salon continues to grow into a vibrant community of book lovers. Whether you’ve read the book cover to cover or just want to soak in the discussion, all are welcome! Expect thoughtful insights, great company, and a warm, bookish atmosphere.
We'll be meeting in the private Simpson Study near the front of the pub, where we’ll discuss the book for about an hour before relaxing with drinks and continuing the conversation informally.
📚 A note on space: The room we use can hold a maximum of 11 people. Since many regular attendees don’t RSVP via Meetup, we’re making just 5 spots available to new members through this page to avoid going over capacity. If you're unable to attend, can you please cancel your RSVP to open up space for someone on the waiting list? Thank you for understanding—we just want to make sure everyone has a seat and a good experience!
✨ New members welcome – no need to have attended before. Join us for an evening of great books and lively conversation. We look forward to seeing you there!
