We meet regularly on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Happy Spaces in Torquay for discussions that range from Bitcoin basics to deeper insights into this revolutionary technology.

This group is dedicated solely to Bitcoin – no altcoins here – as we explore its transformative potential to reshape the future of money.

Bitcoin, introduced by a pseudonymous programmer in 2008, began as a small project few paid attention to. Yet today, it has grown into a globally accessible, unstoppable alternative to modern central banks, offering a secure and decentralised form of hard money. Now, more than ever, it's important to connect with others who share a vision for a monetary system that is apolitical, decentralised, and free from government control.

I've been fascinated by Bitcoin since 2012 and am passionate about bringing together a local community to learn, share ideas, and explore Bitcoin's role in empowering individual sovereignty. Whether you're just starting to learn or already well-versed, this group offers a welcoming environment for everyone interested in understanding Bitcoin's incredible potential to redefine our world.
