If you love the sun, sand and sea... and of course, surfing, please feel free to join!

I usually head out to Oarai weekly or at least fortnightly. I leave from Utsunomiya usually around 10am if it’s a weekend and arrive at the beach at around 11am. Can car share or meet you directly at the beach. For Oarai there is a local station with access from Mito.

For those driving car parking during the summer season is 1,000 yen. Yellow Sands surf shop and car park is a great spot to rent a board if you need to and is right on the beach with views of the ocean.

Open to other spots if you have any secret gems. :)
