Launch and Lunch Paddle Morro Bay

Our first Launch and Lunch! Be prepared for fins up (or down!) in the water at 9a sharp. So please show up early enough to prepare whatever you need. We’ll launch from Tidelands Park Side Tie dock. We’ll paddle over to the spit for a community lunch. Bring a lunch for yourself and whatever beverage you would like. And maybe a towel to sit on! :) Preferably reusable containers and utensils since they’re won’t be a trash can there. Paddle and lunch will be 2 - 3 hours. Then a paddle back to the dock WITH the current!

We do not provide equipment so please be prepared to bring your own. There are several members who have extra boards and or kayaks, so post on the message board and we may be able to help you out! There are also several rental places Morro Bay.

Please be advised that Harbor Patrol requires life jackets or other PFD device. Without one you may get a ticket and a fine. Safety is of the utmost importance and attendees are responsible for their own safety.

Please also be aware of our wildlife and give them a wide berth. ☺️🦦
