Next up! Sunset over the Rock!
Have you ever wanted to see the sunset on the water?
We will launch from Tidelands Side Tie Dock at 530p sharp. So please arrive early enough to secure parking and get your Paddleboard blown up or kayak ready to go! :) Our route will be from Tidelands to the sand spit point and back. It is roughly 90 min - 2 hours round trip.
REQUIRED: please make sure you have a light for your vessel since as it approaches dusk we get harder and harder to see by the boats. If you do not have one, message me and we’ll see what we can do!

At this time in the evening parking may be busy, so at our immediate disposal is the Tidelands parking lot and on the other side of the Embarcadero. Please leave an extra 10-15 min so that we can make sure you find a place to park.
Evenings may tend to get chilly so wear your layers if you see it fit!
We do not provide equipment so please be prepared to bring your own. There are several members who have extra boards and or kayaks, so post on the message board and we may be able to help you out! There are also several rental places Morro Bay.
Please be advised that Harbor Patrol requires life jackets or other PFD device. Without one you may get a ticket and a fine. Safety is of the utmost importance and attendees are responsible for their own safety.
Please also be aware of our wildlife and give them a wide berth. ☺️🦦
