The Experience Exchange

Come and meet people with remarkable life experiences, hear fascinating stories, and exchange ideas across generations in a friendly, relaxed setting. The Experience Exchange is a weekly social gathering where older and younger people come together to share adventures, wisdom, and fresh perspectives.

The event is led by a group of English veterans of South East Asia, who bring first-hand accounts of historic events, travel, and adventure. Their stories offer a rare insight into different times and places, creating an atmosphere of discovery, conversation, and mutual learning.

We meet at The Sir Michael Balcon, a comfortable Wetherspoons pub just a 5-minute walk from Ealing Broadway Station, served by the Central, District, and Elizabeth lines. Table number will be posted on arrival.

Feel free to drop in for a short visit or stay for the full afternoon — all are welcome to join the exchange.
