Join SABRE walk leader George for a 5.5 mile Sunday afternoon circular walk in the Surrey Hills passing through the very pretty village of Shere. We start the walk at Albury Heath Car Park to avoid Shere car parking charges. We will walk through woodlands and open scenic areas going via Albury Heath, Blackheath, Farley Green before stopping in Shere for refreshments and snacks in the tea shop or White Horse pub. We finish with a final stroll back to the car park.

We will walk at a leisurely to moderate pace. There are a few short ascents and descents, nothing too steep. It may be muddy if it has been raining

We will meet at Albury Heath Sports Ground Car Park. On Sandy Lane just off New Road in Albury. Please be ready to start walking at 1pm. No dogs please.

If you have not joined us yet, why not come and enjoy up to 3 walks after which you will be asked to consider becoming a SABRE Rambler member As a member you would enjoy the full benefits of Rambler membership including access to nearly 500 other walking groups nationally, group walking holidays and discounts to outdoor wear and equipment.
