SCENIC WALK AROUND DEVIL’S PUNCHBOWL

Join SABRE walk leader Roger for a scenic walk around the Punchbowl area. We start by walking across to Gibbet Hill where we can enjoy splendid views of the Surrey hills if the weather is clear. We then descend gradually down into the Punchbowl passing picturesque Gnome Cottage before working our way back up to the rim and returning to the start. Possibility of refreshments afterwards at NT cafe.

The walk is 5 miles. We will walk at a moderate pace. It is hilly and will be muddy in some places.

Meet at National Trust Cafe car park, Hindhead (there is a charge for non-NT members). Nearest post code GU26 6AG. Meet outside NT cafe.
