Holmbury & Pitch Hills 6.5 energetic miles with homemade chai spiced blondies

Details

Join us for an energetic 6.5 mile circular walk, taking in picturesque Peaslake village, woodlands, sandy tracks and 2 leg-stretching hills with beautiful views over the Weald of Sussex.

Our sociable, chatty group will make you feel very welcome as we hike the ascents and descents along this route. Underfoot is mostly sandy with a few stony or grassy paths, so the walk shouldn't be too muddy.

Climbing the hills will reward us with stunning views, along with hilltop breaks to recover and enjoy the homemade chai spiced blondies.

Meeting at Peaslake's free Hurtwood car park 2 (Walking Bottom), nearest postcode GU5 9RR or, better still for an exact location, What3Words tune.event.jumps, for prompt 2pm start, as we'll need to finish before dark.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the countryside, hills and changeable weather.

You'll need to bring sufficient water for hydration and/or flask of hot drink to accompany the cakes

We'll be expecting to finish the walk at around 5 pm.

Attendees are responsible for their own safety at all times.

Please pay in advance by PayPal to reserve your place. As refunds cannot be given (unless in the unlikely the event in cancelled) a credit will be given against a future walk only if you let me know of your change of plans before the RSVP cut off 10am the day of the walk.

No dogs please.
