Bletchingley bluebells 5.5 miles with homemade rhubarb cake

Details

Come and join our friendly group for a lovely 5.5 mile circular walk starting and ending in the charming village of Bletchingley with high paths, views, meadows and bluebell woodlands.

Regulars and newbies will be made to feel very welcome.

There will be moderate walking with a couple of ascents: mostly surfaced paths though some muddy exceptions if it's been raining.

Meeting for a 2pm start in Bletchingley, postcode RH1 4NU or What3Words locals.loved.retain, with plenty of roadside parking. The walk starts at the Red Lion pub and there's parking on the side road by the pub.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for countryside, hills and changeable weather:

You'll need to bring sufficient water for hydration and/or flask for your drink to accompany the homemade rhubarb cake. We'll take a midway cake break to enjoy the views and friendly company.

We'll be expecting to finish the walk around 5pm.

Walkers are responsible for their own safety.

No dogs please.

If you sign up for the walk and then can't make it, please let me know so we're not waiting unnecessarily. Thank you.
