Ewhurst and Ewhurst Green with homemade lemon and poppy seed cake

Details
Come and join us for a new walk for this friendly group: a mostly flat, circular walk through the beautiful countryside around Ewhurst and Ewhurst Green . The walk is through woodlands, green meadows and farmland, over styles and through part of the local nature reserve, Sayers Croft, taking in pretty scenery, horses and the deer sanctuary along the way.
Newbies and regulars will be made to feel very welcome as we enjoy the fresh air and country walking.
The terrain is mostly flat, with a fair few stiles to cross. Walking boots are recommended as it can easily get muddy after rainfall. We'll take a midway break to enjoy the homemade lemon and poppy seed cake and company.
Meeting at the main car park in Ewhurst, adjoining the church of St Peter and St Paul. Approximate postcode GU6 7PX or, better still, I highly recommend the What3Words app for a more accurate pinpoint, www.w3w./screen.printing.toned., for prompt 2pm start.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for countryside, possible mud and changeable weather, plus bring sunlotion if needed.
You'll need to bring sufficient water for hydration and/or flask of hot drink to accompany the cake.
We'll be expecting to finish the walk at around 5pm
Attendees are responsible for their own safety at all times.
Please pay in advance by PayPal, to reserve your place. As refunds cannot be given (unless in the unlikely event it's cancelled) a credit will be given against a future walk only if you let me know of your change of plans before the RSVP cut off 10am the day of the walk.
No dogs please
