Lightwater Country Park (6.0 miles)

Circular walk through the country park, going past ponds and some of the MOD alpine test track, going up Black hill past the water tower, and High Curley, where the whole London skyline is visible on a good day.

This walk includes a number of steep slopes.

This walk is also advertised on the Surrey Heath Ramblers web site (www.surreyheathramblers.org.uk) so there will be more walkers attending than is shown on Meetup. Typically we walk with between 15 and 25 people.
Our walks start promptly and it is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early to get booted ready for the walk.
If you are unable to attend please remove yourself from the event and text the walk leader so that they are aware that you won't be attending.
As a non member of Ramblers you can attend 3 walks to try us out, after that you are required to join the Ramblers to continue walking with us.
