Around Finchampstead & California Country Park (5.3 miles)

An undulating walk in the rural countryside of Berkshire, treading narrow paths between fields, some minor road walking, starting from St James Church Finchampstead, passing Fleethill & White Horse Farms crossing the Nine Mile Ride to arrive at California Country Park where we walk around Longmoor Lake, returning on a narrow footpath to carpark & The Queen's Oak pub.

No Stiles, minor road walking & several road crossings, steepish descent from church.

This walk is also advertised on the Surrey Heath Ramblers web site (www.surreyheathramblers.org.uk) so there will be more walkers attending than is shown on Meetup. Typically we walk with between 15 and 25 people.
Our walks start promptly and it is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early to get booted ready for the walk.
If you are unable to attend please remove yourself from the event and text the walk leader so that they are aware that you won't be attending.
As a non member of Ramblers you can attend 3 walks to try us out, after that you are required to join the Ramblers to continue walking with us.
