Chobham Common & Sunningdale Golf Course (5.3 miles)

Starting from the roundabout carpark we cross the road to enter open heathland (slightly overgrown) reaching the M3 underpass our walk continues on wide tracks until we cross the motorway again over a footbridge. We are then into forestry until we arrive at Sunningdale Golf Course where after a short hill we have open views to Woking & beyond, continuing thro' the course past the lakes eventually arriving back to the carpark. A varying walk with undulating paths thro' forestry & narrow woodland tracks with a vista.
Overgrown heather & grasses so long trousers & boots recommended. Possibly horses & several minor roads to cross. Start walk at 10am prompt.

This walk is also advertised on the Surrey Heath Ramblers web site (www.surreyheathramblers.org.uk) so there will be more walkers attending than is shown on Meetup. Typically we walk with between 15 and 25 people.
Our walks start promptly and it is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early to get booted ready for the walk.
If you are unable to attend please remove yourself from the event and text the walk leader so that they are aware that you won't be attending.
As a non member of Ramblers you can attend 3 walks to try us out, after that you are required to join the Ramblers to continue walking with us.
