Surrey Bend is a regional park located on the banks of the Fraser River in the northeast corner of the City. The site is unique in many ways, including its position as one of the few remaining large, undyked sections of the lower Fraser River, and the unique ecological effects this creates.The park is home to a variety of wildlife. Walk through the wetlands & view the log booms along the shoreline of the Fraser River.
Please Note: although numbers may appear low on this page, be assured you will be with club members who have not signed up here. Come Walk With Us, you will have lots of company.
*** Registration is from 9:30 am to 9:45 am. You MUST register by 9:45 am at the start point before commencing the walk. Walks begin promptly at 10:00 am. Please allow time to park and find our group. Look for us; we are wearing red. The first 5 walks are free. After that, you may choose to join our club. See our website for information on membership forms and walk fees. ***
Immediately following the walk, you may wish to join some of your fellow club members at the designated eatery.
