Trip to the coast

It looks like the perfect weather for a ride down to the coast .

Meeting at the Farnham BP petrol station on the A31

We will be taking some great A & B roads down south. This will be an all day ride but we will make stops on the way down and on the way back for leg stretch/coffee.
You will be able to ride at your own pace and there will be plenty of opportunities for making good progress. Overtaking is part of bike riding as is filtering. (hopefully no traffic)
We will be sticking to 20, 30, 40mph in and around villages and make progress on the open sections.
The ride will be limited to 15 people, based on a first-come-first-served basis. This is not suitable for learners or 125cc.

Duration
The ride will take all day. We will meet at 10.30 am. Rider briefing at 10.15 am and on our bikes by 10.300 am. The aim would be to be back at the starting point for 5:00 pm, however this may vary dependent on traffic and lunch duration.
Distance, stopping and fuel
The total distance for the day will be around 200 miles. There will be time for a leg stretch and a chat during the day and so we will be stopping at least once either way. (More if people are tired)
Format
The corner marker and tail gunner system will be in use so please make sure you are aware of how this works. If this is your first ride don't worry we will take care of you and we will explain how the corner marker works. You can see a video here https://youtu.be/IWP1vbuTkNc
Please message me if you will do a tail gun stint. We will need four in total.

RSVP
I will leave the ride open until 24 hours before we are due to go. At this point, there will be no more changes. Until then, feel free to put your name or take it off; it's no drama. Once the RSVP is closed you will need to message me directly to remove you should you not wish to come.
You do not need to make excuses or tell me anything other than I am not coming, so if you change your mind once the RSVP is closed please do the decent thing and tell me. That way if there are others who wish to attend, I can contact them.
Please note if you do not show up on the day and you have RSVP then you will be marked as a no-show and you are out.

Bike

1. Please arrive with a full tank or fill up at the station and make sure your bike is in good working order.
2. Please make sure you have a breakdown cover.

Armband
I have provided armbands in the past, but it costs me a small fortune. Given the size of the group and we need to be able to recognize one and other armbands will be required.

For those of you who have them, please remember to bring it with you. As a tip, I always leave mine in my jacket. That way I never forget.
