What we’re about

So who hasn't been affected by narcissistic behavior in toxic personalities? This is a group for people who will share their experience, strength and hope dealing with the affects of narcissistic abuse, whether with a family member, people in the work place, or in personal relationships. We will focus on education of behavior patterns of this personality disorder, learn healthy strategy techniques to protect ourselves from ongoing abuse, and pursue personal soul healing from past and present relationships.

This is an anonymous group. What is said in the group, stays in the group. You will learn to open up to safe and trusted individuals. My vision is to see suffering lessened by sharing our hearts with others who understand the devastating effects of having to interact with people who actively engage in these behaviors and more:  control, condemnation, rudeness, evil, manipulation, irresponsibility, shaming, accusation, attacking, blame shifting,  gaslighting, etc. Diagnosing the problem has given me freedom, hope, and joy.  I have learned to not take on others' projections of self-hate personally, and I practice  "selfish" self-care. You will learn to set healthy personal boundaries to preserve your self-esteem.  Please join us and let's heal together!

Our team has compiled a list of helpful books and online sites to help facilitate your journey in recovery.  Request entry to this site SurvivingNPD@outlook.com by sending the team an email.   We encourage you to make personal connections outside the group.

Our meetings have been online by Zoom and not at our regular location:   St. Matthews United Methodist Church on 2540 W. Baseline Road in Mesa.  The  meetings are scheduled the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 in the morning. Check the event announcements for details.

There will be no meetings in July due to vacation schedules, but will resume in August.
