Sussex Data Science is Back in Person and Online!

Lincoln asks "High performance code for Data Science: Does Rust have a place in the data scientist's toolbox?"

"Rated developer's most loved language three years running on Stackoverflow, the Rust programming language is going from strength to strength.

However, its penetration within the data-science community has been more limited. In this talk, I'll introduce the Rust language, and talk about where I think it fits in the data-scientist's toolbox.

I outline potential use-cases, and how it can complement more commonly used languages such as Python and R. Finally, I'll show how you can bring Rust into your workflow without even writing any Rust yourself."
