Why join?
Berlin is working to become a zero-waste, circular city, and this is the first international conference on how to make that real. It brings together people from politics, city administration, business, research and civil society. It’s a rare chance to see what is actually happening in Berlin, learn from practical examples, and meet the people driving it.
Who is it for?
Anyone curious about the circular economy, zero waste or sustainable cities: professionals, students, career changers, or simply engaged Berliners. No prior knowledge needed.
What to expect
- Keynote by Prof. Dr. Maja Göpel, one of Germany’s best-known voices on sustainability and economic transformation
- Panel: “Circular Cities in Action”, with practical examples of building circular, resilient cities
- Afternoon “re-LABs”: interactive workshops on concrete solutions
- Plenty of time for exchange and networking
Free, in English and German, with a translation app available.
Come solo, you won’t be alone. We’ll meet at check-in, sit together, and share impressions over a drink afterwards. Can’t take the whole day off? Join us for the morning or the afternoon only.
