What we’re about
Welcome to My Green Earth, where passion meets purpose! 🌍 Join us on a journey to inspire and empower more sustainable communities. Our Meetup group brings together eco-conscious individuals for a variety of activities – from volunteering and awareness events to casual happy hours. Let's foster a community deeply connected to our natural environment and create positive change together. Join us in making every step count for a greener, more connected future!

🌱🍎🍑Join us for a hands-on Air Layering Workshop where you’ll learn a unique and sustainable method of propagating fruit trees! This technique encourages roots to grow on a branch while it’s still attached to the parent tree—producing a mature, ready-to-plant clone ideal for food forests and long-term restoration.
During this interactive session, we’ll demonstrate air layering on an apple, a peach, and a plum tree. You’ll gain practical skills, discover the science behind the process, and learn how this method helps create resilient, fruit-bearing trees that support food security and ecological regeneration.
What to Expect:
🌳 Step-by-step demo of the air layering method
🍎 Hands-on participation with 3 different fruit trees
🌿 Tips for using this method in your own backyards
🌎 A chance to connect with community
What to Bring:
This event is outdoors, so:
- Bring bug spray and sunscreen
- Bring refillable water bottles
- Wear closed-toed shoes
- Wear pants/long sleeves to minimize bug/poison ivy exposure
Let’s grow something powerful together!
