Eliminating Fossil Fuel Use at Home, and How the IRA Can Help

Hallie Bowie, award-winning architect and LEED Green Associate, will share the story of removing the gas meter on her own 1961 house and how you can begin moving your own house away from fossil fuels. See the induction cooktop, air source heat pump heating system, heat pump water heater, electrical upgrades, insulation, vehicle charging station, and solar panels that improve comfort and air quality while eliminating the need for gas. We'll also discuss how the Inflation Reduction Act can provide you with tax credits or rebates that make this transition an even better value! Learn to create your own plan for moving your house away from fossil fuels!

We will start with a brief presentation on the systems at 6:45, followed by a tour of the house, and then questions and discussion. If you can't be here by 5:45, please feel free to join us when you can.
