We'll look at Gen AI through the ESG framework and participants will get a simple decision tree on how to choose when and how to use AI in they work and life.
📖 About the speaker:
Madalina Buzdugan is a Sustainability & AI Strategist based in Amsterdam. Previously a Director of Sustainability, she brings over 15 years of experience driving impact within fast-growing startups and scale-ups across the electric vehicle (EV), travel, and global mobility sectors. Today, Madalina helps fast-growing companies unite sustainability work and AI as complementary forces rather than competing priorities. As a speaker, she delivers actionable insights on sustainable AI, responsible innovation, and how leadership teams can navigate the "AI-or-die" era without compromising their core values. When not dreaming of AI carbon footprints, Madalina is an decent hiker and is currently writing her first book.

Whether you're new to public speaking or looking to make your sustainability message more memorable, you'll leave with practical tools—and the confidence—to let your voice be heard.
📖 About the speaker:
Wilco Burggraaf is a Sustainable Digital Architect and Transformation Lead who helps organizations reduce the environmental impact of their software, data, and AI. He combines deep technical expertise with practical sustainability strategies, guiding teams from green coding to low-waste IT operations. Wilco is a regular speaker on Sustainable IT and believes technology should create value for both businesses and the planet.

Our goal is connect people around Sustainable IT. In order to build more connections, we would like to offer the stage to everyone who wants to share something. We will timebox each pitch on 2 minutes exactly!
Please note that this session is intended as a community gathering, so commercial pitches are to be avoided :)
