Hack Night

Details

We've got two projects in progress; a passive solar heater and a green infrastructure monitoring kit.

The heater currently lacks the ability to adapt to different window widths. If you have any ideas around how to do this, we'll be grateful!

Green Infrastructure reduces the load on the city's sewer system during storms. The more that's built, the less often the city will need to dump excess sewage into the river and the lake. The Delta Institute has challenged us to design a cheap kit for measuring the amount of water diverted so that the city can reward homeowners for taking steps to reduce runoff from their property. There are a variety of sensors still to be incorporated.
