July 4 Community Picnic in Cal Anderson

What better way to celebrate summer than with a picnic in the park? At this year's annual picnic, Sustainable Capitol Hill will be promoting the Tool Library Planning and the Capitol Hill Fruit Harvest by building a solar oven and using it to cook some gleaned fruit into jam. We will also have other fun activities, such as our popular spin art bicycle, as well as diy soda can camping stoves.
