Welcome to the first meetup of the SustainaBook Club in Stockholm: get ready for a lovely summer evening filled with reflections, discoveries and good energy!
The SustainaBook Club is a space to discuss social and environmental topics with a little help from literature. Every month, we meet to share our reflections on one great book, using it a starting point to discuss broader planetary issues connected with its plot.
For this meeting, we will talk about “Leave the world behind” by Rumaan Alam. It is advisable to have finished the book before the event, but you can also be halfway through if you don’t mind spoilers 😊. Be aware that there is also a movie on Netflix based on the book (minor differences with the novel).
We will meet in Humlegården (exact spot to be announced later, plan B to be announced in case of rain). Please have a blanket or something to sit on. Also, feel free to bring something to drink – I’ll provide some snacks!
The discussion will be in English.
